Neven BudakTenured professor of history at the University of Zagreb. Since 1994 until 2005 he taught graduate courses at the Central European University in Budapest. One of the founders of the Historical Society Otium. Initiator and head of doctoral medieval studies at the University of Zagreb. Studies and researches early medieval Croatian  history and urban and social history. Since 1999, the President of the Croatian National Committee of Historical Sciences.
